The Cravebox Scoop: New Info on Shipping
Howdy Cravers! I hope you all had a safe and happy 4th of July. We’ve gotten some questions about the timing of our shipments that I wanted to address.
First let me explain the two programs quickly: As you probably know, there are 2 kinds of boxes that we ship – the Subscription boxes and the Limited Edition boxes. The Limited Edition boxes are available one time, and anyone can enter the drawing to receive a box that is interesting to them. The Subscription boxes go out on a regular basis to small and lucky group of Cravers. They receive these boxes automatically, and do not have to enter a drawing to get them. Subscribers can opt out any time, and when they do, their slot will get filled with another Craver who has been patiently waiting to join that program. But that doesn’t happen very often, which we’re thrilled about. We consistently add more slots to that program. You’ll hear from us soon about the next batch of subscription slots that we’re opening up in the coming weeks.
As far as the shipping schedule for the Subscription boxes, we generally try to ship these boxes monthly. But, sometimes we’ll stretch that to 6 weeks between shipments in order to get the quality of the boxes where we want them (see my earlier post on that). And sometimes we’ll do what we call a “Dual Box” which basically means that one of our Limited Edition boxes is so good, that we’ll ship it both to Subscribers and to non subscribers, which is what we’re doing with our super awesome Summer BBQ box.
