We’ve gotten some questions about the “freshness” date on the back of the Pork Chomps product in your boxes. Some of you may have received Pork Chomps that reference the date referred to on the back as the “Best If Used By” date, which is a reference to product freshness. Please note that this is not an expiration date, and these products actually do not expire or require expiration dates by the FDA.

Scott Pet goes over and above the FDA requirement and includes a “freshness” date which is what you are seeing on the back of your product. Scott Pet apologizes for inadvertently including some units in this shipment that have passed their freshness date, however, they are 100% safe to give to your pet.
